Back to work support and guidance – helping employees return to work after mental illness and absence
What can we do for you?
We work with employers to help them manage employees’ return to work after periods of absence. We offer specialist mental health back-to-work support as well as helping employees return to work after long-term absence through physical illness, disciplinary, or simply maternity leave.
Understandably employees can often feel anxious about returning to work after a period of absence. And as an employer, how do you integrate someone back so that they feel effective and welcome? How do you help them hit the ground running? Where do they now fit in your business? We’re here to give you the tools you need for a successful return, we’ll help you spot any barriers and show you how to remove them.
How does back to work support work?
We can work with HR or the line manager to create a personalised plan to re-integrate each employee, and enable them to feel like they have value. We’ll help you to spot the signs that someone might be struggling on their return, and give you the tools to know how to have positive and productive conversations with your employee. We can also work with you to create company-wide return-to-work policies and procedures to make sure you have the system in place in future.
Who is it for?
Any employer who has to manage returns to work and wants a personalised plan for individual employees alongside specialised support to be able to implement that plan.
What can you expect from our back to work services?
We understand that every situation is different, and that’s why we tailor our return to work support and training to suit your needs. Our bespoke approach allows you to reintegrate your employees back into the workforce, whatever they reason for their absence.
