Mental health first aid in the workplace – training, coaching, resources
What is mental health first aid in the workplace?
Just as you learn how to deal with initial physical injuries or symptoms on a first aid course, our mental health first aid course will train you to become a confident first point of contact for mental health issues.
Poor mental health can severely impact your work and home life. Many of us don’t even know what good mental health looks like, or how to help those who are struggling. Understanding, and knowing how to create a safe mental health environment is something we can help with.
What does our specialist mental health first aid course offer?
We can offer a range of training and consultancy services to support you in minimising the impact of mental ill health upon your business and your people, whilst proactively promoting and nurturing a healthy workplace environment.
Whilst we can all benefit from some mental health training and awareness, our mental health first aid course is aimed at middle management and above. Mental health first aid for managers will teach this key section of your business how to identify, understand and support someone who may be developing a mental health issue. This training is also useful for anyone looking to create and embed a long-term positive and supportive culture across the whole organisation.
We work in partnership with you to create a culture in which your managers and general employees are not only more open in discussing mental health issues, but also able to seek or offer support more readily.
