The importance of sleep – minimise the impact of sleep disorders on your organisation
What are sleep therapy workshops?
Our sleep workshops give individuals an overview of the benefits of sleep and the role it plays in our lives, while providing tools and resources to improve sleeping hygiene and sleep behaviour. We also offer more in-depth therapy sessions to help resolve more serious sleep problems such as insomnia.
We understand everyone is unique which is why we offer bespoke sessions and workshops. We can tailor our sleep workshops and therapy sessions to suit your individual and business needs. We work with individuals, small groups, and larger groups, from the CEO down. We are here to help your organisation perform better.
Promoting positive sleep habits through workshops and therapy
Sleep is essential to good psychological, physical health and brain function. How much we sleep is different for us all and can change as we get older. If you have difficulty falling asleep, wake up multiple times at night or experience tiredness during the day even after long periods of sleep then our sleep therapy workshops will prove highly beneficial.
Insomnia and other sleep-related issues can be caused by or symptomatic of other serious issues, such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders. That is why we take an integrated approach, blending scientifically-proven therapies to develop the most effective solution for you.
Our approach to treatment of sleep disorders
In addition to educating employees as to the importance of sleep, we believe that therapy is an effective treatment for more serious sleep disorders. Specifically, the use of therapy helps target both the symptoms and the root cause behind sleep problems.
We will identify environmental and behavioural factors which may affect sleep quality, and explore distorted thinking patterns which contribute to the surrounding anxieties exacerbating the problem. We’ll teach the skills and techniques needed to make adjustments to routines, thoughts and behaviours so that you can achieve a better night’s sleep.
Our therapy reflects the individual and their unique sleep problem, we use a combination of therapies in our treatment of sleep disorders; these include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy alongside talking therapies such as counselling and psychotherapy.
